So after a long hiatus, we've been at work on the sequel to our Game Shell jam entry, Planet Busters.   The new framework is using Pyglet instead of Pygame, which allows use of Python3 and better OpenGL support for HW acceleration.  We're also increasing sprite resolution to 64b so it will scale better to larger platforms, and building a new animation engine to allow for more on-planet shenanigans!  These shots here are early fails at generating a planet, using a 64b minecraft texture pack.   A long way to go even to get to the basics - but it's at least started and that's the hard part.
